News/Day In Pictures

So casually flipping through my magazines cause I am awesome, and through my e-mails and I read that selfridges have opened up a new male shoe section, the biggest in the world... I think I sat at my computer screen in awe of it!! I want to witness what it looks like.. haha! So this sparked up an idea in my head.. every so often when I read something during the week I shall post it on here to share with you all.. YAY
for the bright ones amongst us, you will notice my new font.. thought i should jazz things up a little around here...

*sigh* Yesterday was such an awful evening, I really think people should start to learn some manners. It maybe just me but they don't cost anything and I feel if you are going to speak someone there is a way in which you do it. And it isn't by ending the conversation by telling someone to 'shut up' simply say 'please can you be quiet'. I could be going all old fashioned but I think manners are really important.. Anyway glancing over that topic..
I wore my tesco Lipstick yesterday... and people said it looked good, I call that a success! I think I might just wear it more often ;)
oh I should mention.. I have downloaded the 'Vogue daily news'  App and it is really good! I have found out quite a lot! It's free you should deffo download it :) Type in 'Vogue Daily' and it will come up

Also it comes from my new/old/all time obsession with Newton Faulkner.. wowee this guy is AMAZING I am currently listening to his albums now while writing and I am in musical heaven... literally. 

New Band: Urban Cone, they are a great band who I have really began to get obsessed with, omg! If you fancy a listen, the best song in my opinion is 'Deja Vu'

Beauty and the Tired Beast

Bonfire night was so freezing I thought my toes were going to fall off! however romantic it seemed at the time it was so so cold :( This is the thing, if we were in Australia where you could be warm and watch fireworks life would be so much simpler and nicer for that matter.. but no i had to struggle with my toes falling off #winning! 
However, I hope your nights were joyus and no one got harmed.. thats always a plus! no got harmed over here so i call that a certified bonus (y) top marks for helmsley ;)
As you are all aware  i have died my hair.. OMG! so this is exciting since my nana really didn't want me to do it, but she likes it so i consider that something to be proud off! however I did do it when I was tired and Harry was over.. so he helped thought i should make him of use.. and it is LOADS better than it was the first time you can actually tell now ;) so all is welll and all is Ombred!!

I had a rumage around my room and i came across somethings which i bought which I forgot i had or my Mum bought and gave to me.. or I have just recently purchased :) 

1. My mum bought some Avon ideal flawless foundation which she has used but she didn't want anymore and gave it to me to try... and i really like it! you don't need much on your face at all and it covers everywhere. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin as it leaves a sheen on your face and is quite heavy.. but i recommend for normal or dry skin :) i have it in Ivory 

2. When looking round for things for Halloween I came across some dark matte Lipstick which is a really deep purple, it is rather garish if you put on loads but I have found if you blot it and build it up it is a really nice colour and very this season! So when finding this in very low amounts I went on a mission to find more! It's from tesco i think its £2.. so a bargain :) however.. because it is so cheep it does just slide of your lips after a drink.. but hey its a great colour!

3. while shopping for my new lippy, i came across the new foundation for Rimmel 'match perfect' and considering I have loads of foundation now i thought i would try the new concealer and it is really good :) not so much for under the eyes, but for covering redness on the face and round your nose and for minor blemishes it is really great :) i have it in shade 010 ivory

4. Again after finding my concealer i proceeded to maybelline to find their new 'Master Smoky shadow pencil' and I thought it looked really good, and was a good mix of the Max Factor smoky eye effect shadow in 2 steps, which i do have! But.. however good it looks it is a bugger to applicate.. the smudger is so stiff it felt like i was poking my eye out, this wasnt helped by how difficult the shadow was to blend with the smudger.. wasn't impressed! however after many tries it did look good.. so i arent sure whether i will be buying this again or not..
i have it in shade smoky Navy 

5. While in tesco's i had a look down the face isle as i like to call it, and one of my close friends recommended the Simple facial toner for a cleanser to remove makeup, as i arent a fan of facial wipes! I love it, compared to the Garnier one which i am in love with, this really does beat it. My face feels so fresh and really clean after. And for £2.50 i shall be buying it again. Bargain.

Finally; I went down to the shampoo isle for some conditioner to look after and protect my dyed hair and i came across the l'oreal 'new ever pure no sulphates colour care system' so i figured why not! And it made my ends feel so much better, less straw like (from the dye) and more soft it feels and looks healthier :) however i am still looking for other better ones, so if anyone has any tips or brands let me know!

so this has been my monthly update on my latest purchases of beauty buys! hope you all find this helpful in what you are looking to buy :)

Happy Halloween guys :) hope you are all getting ready too look insanely scary! I am going as a cat tonight.. WOOO. The pictures will be up tomorrow along with the Zombie Rabbit! but first i had to go to the doctors, i had to have a blood test and whoa nelly.. the needle was massive i almost fainted when i saw.. but i came out alive and i survived YES ;) so i have to wait for my results now.. ooo

I haven't been wearing much make up really, which is a big change for me, due to my "meh" attitude, but when I do I am beginning to spend much more time on it making it look a tad more classy ;) which is rather odd as I actually look like i am 18 rather than a grungy 16 year old..
I have grown to love Bobble Hats, my most recent one is from New Look I think it was something like £7.99, so it was a bargain :D

This Weeks Obsession: 10 things i hate about you
holy balony this has to be the most amazing film ever! i think i have watched it around 10 times this holiday and it's only... Wednesday! Welcome to my sad life
So with blogging now i think i am going to try and do one everyother day as I have so much work it's untrue. So i will get into a pattern, i promise :P

tomorrow night i shall be going as a zombie rabbit from Alice & Wonderland, don't quite know how that is going to turn out but we shall see ;)

Jeans/Makeup/half-term/Inspiration

Not only am i 18 now so i can buy a monkey.. I am writing for The Gazette & Herald the local newspaper of our county... exciting times :D the topic... Jazz Club.. exciting times i know! but it is a start and a head in the right direction :P
I have also really got into wearing my onesie again.. this is sad times.. it really does show how lazy i am :/
In other news: i have died my hair.. new dip dye WOOP, piccys shall be uploaded soon (y)

now its half term.. going to blog as much as i can :D be prepared for some scary outfits.. watch this space :P

What are my weekly addictions? Annie Mac Presents 2012.. Oh my days! its such a good album, i have it on loads! Swedish House Mafia - Until Now... another great album, it's their last one *sheds tear* And a new band called Imagine Dragons, check them out guys! they are so so so so good :D

Makeup - lately i have been buying lots of make-up.. I got the New 'Kate Moss matte lipstick' for Rimmel in shade 107 And its amazing, i love how it looks on the lip, i think i am going to buy the other colours ;)
I got the Rimmel wake me up Concealer in shade 010 Ivory. I really like it for under the eyes as it isn't heavy at all, and lasts ageeees!
I got some new Stay matte powder.. the best powder in the whole world!

18/Cold/Presents

Wow I haven't posted in so long - wwaaaa! i am a fail in life i really am! i send my appologies, if you follow me on instagram you will have seen my presents which i have listed below! i hope you have all had a great few weeks! 

I am 18... YAY, haha i am getting worse at writing blogs I never have time anymore.. but my loved one shall find time and roll with it :P 
I had the best birthday ever with so many amazing people around me on the sunday, it was incredible!
However on the downer side of things i have developed a cold.. *sigh* i find it hard to swallow and i have the sniffles and mind-grains.. it hurts guys!
so what did i get? (This isnt be bragging - some people have asked me!)

Mum and Dad got me my party and some earings from an art gallery where i live (y)
Harry got me 2 books about cartoons :') and Mumford and Sons Tickets.. :D
Nana & Grandpa got me a tiffany Bracelet, which is incredible!
Aunty Sue & Kat topshop suede maroon studd boots and a lacey top from urban outfitters
My friends got me: Mischa Barton clutch bag, Room Decor, Vogue Collage, Earings, 2 purses (one radley one Jasper Conran), Malteaser Tree, Wine & Champagne, Jewellery Box, Jewellery Voucher, Topshop Gift card.. :D, River Island Card, Bracelets, Earings, Chocolate, Cath Kidstone Bath kit.. Mulberry bag, nail varnish and a duck called douglas that wears wellies...
i feel well and truly spoilt, got so many lovely things and yeah i feel amazing!

what can i do now i am 18?
buy a monkey, Buy a sword, Buy a gun, Write my will, Buy a house, Sell Alcohol, work in a strip club..and many more things.. these were the ones i found most amusing!

So what am i addicted to this week? Made in chelsea, wasnt it awesome on monday ?!?! so so good i think i'm dying with excitement :P
what am i getting up to? So many 18th parties it is unreal and so little outfits, i need more clothes... yes i did just say that! i need more... D:

What am i going to buy next? A watch - if anyone has any good offers of places to go then please tell me!! 

I promise i will be more frequent - I think Fridays and Mondays are the places to be for blogging! I WILL find time!

Birthday/Inspiration

September went so fast, and most of all i can't believe i am 18 on sunday! i think its crazy, however i am doing amazingly on my diet.. *cheer* and in good news i could be going to Paris in January with the boyf, so there is something good to look forward too :D Also next Friday, Newton Faulkner with my best friend. Tis what she got me for the birthday! So Excited!

This Weeks Inpiration: it comes from my friends really. As sad as it seems, a few have been down lately and it really inspired me to carry on through everything because a couple have been going through a bad time but have managed to pull through it all. Also I went to a concert at my brothers secondary school, and there was Uganda Choir performing 'Pearl Of Africa choir' and the hardship that those kids go through has made me realise how lucky i am to have a family, friends and all these possibilities  This may seem rather down hearted but i feel i should tell you truthfully what has inspired me this week. Some days/weeks/months those children don't have food... It really makes you think.
