FWOTW.....

Hello my Lovelies, hope your week went well and you are all feeling perky! 

why am I so happy I hear you say? Well, I am exam free until the summer.. WOO which means I am for a little while stress free.. *dances internally*

What happened this week?

well as you can tell by the mood, I have finished my exams, and this weekend I have been to 3 parties.. yes you heard me! 3.. never has my social life been (as the young ones say..) "booming". You are probably thinking, who on earth would want too see me 3 times! well there was.. Band *sound the nerd alarm* where we had our annual new year meal/concert/being drunk around posh people party, it's cooler than it sounds.. honest! no i am joking it is insanely nerdy but lets swerve past that... I then went to my friends for a chillaxing evening, which was chilled as we watched many funny youtube clips and played air hockey.. which I lost at, which didn't surprise anyone.. I am the least sporty person E V E R.
Finally there was the end of exam party, which hopefully I might be able to attend but there is so much snow D: it has ruined all of my plans *sigh*
One thing I am obsessed with currently is movies, I think everyday/night I am watching a film, which I aren't sure if it's really sad or really awesome. Comment below what you think.. what else happened,, oh I have changed my signature image! I bet you are all incredibly excited for that!
And finally of course was all the snow which has been highly desruptive as on Tuesday I thought 'oh poo I wont get to my exam' which to my dads response he said "Well I will take you in the digger".. yeah.. he didn't need to, shame that.

AOTW: my artist of the week this week deffo has to be the Kooks! After having a rather surreal week I have really enjoyed relaxing,chilling and warming up to the Kooks! I think my new found old fave is 'see the sun' such a lovely chirpy tune! However I think the whole album 'konk' is very good! So if you love the kooks great, if you haven't heard them in ages wapp them on! and if you haven't ever heard of them.. LISTEN TO THEM NOW!

Now onto the fashion:
OOTW: Ripped denim Jeans from Topshop which are really old now, I was surprised when I wore them yesterday that still fit.. It was one accomplishment :') I wore this with a simple grey vest and my Green Parka from Camden Market!
I have made some new shorts.. *pause for applause* Which I am highly proud off, they are made from Old Levi jeans they were £10 from a vintage store in York, I think the shop is the find of the year! Everything is a tenner :D its rather amazing! 

One of the things I am trying to do this year is to save my money and wear ALL of my clothes and only buy something if I: 1. need it 2. it is reallllly cheap and 3. if I am going somewhere posh.

Well, this has already failed as I bought another maxi dress, but it is nothing like the ones I currently own.. promise! It's from ASOS, which of course justifiably is really good!

I think this is such a good piece to own as you can dress it up and down and will go with lots, so this isn't just a dress, it is a life investment. *thank you*

If anyone has any ideas on what I can wear to an interview for UCA - then please let me know because I am still struggling for ideas!!

hello my lovelies - I am back! *I apologise for the length* Casually watching Jezza while writing this.. best day off ever ;)
You are all probably wondering where I have been and why I haven't been blogging through the end of December and beginning of January.
As always near the end of the year we have parties, I have been rather poorly, I have had revision and I have had to deal with a break-up, which due to experiences sometimes is really hard! But more importantly I have been going through a panic phase of that I just haven't known what to write about and haven't really felt myself, and in some cases I feel rather alone! which is weird cause I am surrounded by so many friends! But now I feel much better and all these emotions have gone! and with these new ideas I have some good feelings about this little blog :) 

The plan this year? fashion word of the week, inspiration, Music track of the week, OOTW! so hopefully this will only get better and better! With this will come the fashion & beauty hauls and then comes the uni updates :) Hope this all will tickle your fancies.

Artist I have been loving for the week (AOTW) - Tom Odell; recently won the Brits choice award 2013, and his single 'Another Love' is one of my all time faves for 2013, I can sense big things from this dude!
This week, I had my two resits on Wednesday, it was torture! 1st I thought my English exam didn't have my question so I did the whole 'OMG TOTAL FREAK OUT!' exam mode.. it wasn't a fun time for me, and I didn't have a drink either... my life was utter carnage at this point! Then I had my History, the 1st two questions were good, I did the party in your head dance, then I was starting to forget the info needed so I looked around and stared into space and looked a guy in my year square in the face.. it was VERY awkward! As you can imagine my exams are very emotional times as I can imagine all yours are too...

So with all of this snow comes the snow ball fights and the snowmen, pretty sights there, you can thank me later. However, walking outside on the wing path towards my class, I slipped..pretty much a landslide, and these year 7's I will emphasise this YEAR 7'S were laughing at me.. and they thought it would be funny to throw more snow at me.. that my friends was a good day -.- oh and to top that all off I fell down the stairs. My life is total embarrassment :(
on a happy note got a conditional offers from London Met & Sunderland .. thank you very much kind regards. (thought I should add some Miranda in there, gotta love the woman!) 
Before we get into the inspiration - I have decided to make a to do list of everything I need to do before the Easter Holidays - 
1. Blog more.. so here we go!
2. Get my extended project done
3. Diet
4. Eat Healthy
5. History coursework
6. English coursework
7. Complete my portfolio
When I complete these things I shall let you know in due course, and I will write about it.. I bet you all cant wait :P

busy times! I just like to smile, smiling's my favourite

hello my darlings- sorry this is a late one! To start the ball rolling 'hi I'm Buddy the Elf - what's your favourite colour?' Gotta love elf chaps... This shall be what happens every blog until Christmas, a movie quote to share with you my festive moments :P
Anyway...I have had one heck of a week, been full of cold so much so that I couldn't speak during Mumford and sons, of whom were incredible :D then I had my last junior band xmas concert.. I am slowly becoming less of a nerd and I don't really like it! I liked being a little nerd.. now I am turning normal D: that thought really scares me!! however, I am writing this on my day off WOO! So I am quickly typing so if this doesn't make sense its because I am tired and rather ill from eating too much ice cream :/ (it was on offer in co-op.. guilty as charged) then lastly I went to go and see the incredible Nerina Pallot - and as always she was amazing :) so it was nice to spend time with the mother before family times.. ;) If you haven'e heard any of her songs you are missing out: check out 'Idaho' such a great song.
On top of this chaps... I have done the Christmas shopping *pause for applause* and I have 2 weeks to go.. I call this an ultimate success and medals shall be flocking my way ;) I love going xmas shopping, mainly because I get to spend ages in shops and say 'look lady I am xmas shopping don't rush me'  and they are fine with me chilling in the shop, and also there is so many nice little gifts I have got and if I have got too many then bingo! there is some for me ;) I kid..I kid..

OOTW:
I have been really wrapping up this week it's been so cold up here, I feel this Arctic weather is slowly getting worse and soon we will see penguins and polar bears roaming round and we shall move into igloos.. it could happen my friends! But if anyone has any ideas on what to wear on the big day - please let me know as i usually get something spesh to wear with the family :)
So really I have been chilling my jeans, and really taking advantage of the fact I can layer things this season (y) as a side note, I have been wearing my Uggs :O I haven't worn them in quite sometime and my feet were frozen so I went for it..and I thought I was just chilling in my slippers, forgot how amazing they were to wear :P

What else... oh yeah! The James Bond party was a little bit amazing! I managed to do my makeup amazingly without a mistake and my dress looked pretty decent to! and the evening was top notch :) so all in all (even though I did develop my cold from that night!) it was really good and I had a great time! yay good times ;)

festivities: This weeks Christmas love is....

this candle smells incredible even though it is rather pricey for a candle I think its £38? I aren't too sure, it smells amazing and I think it smells rather chirstmassy, I am really thinking about buying one of their Christmas candles called Oliban Frankincense again its rather pricey as its limited edition but hey! you gotta do it ;) and its in a nice pot (y)

Inspiration:
As always I sometimes include someone,something or pictures which have inspired me or moved me in some way. This week a close friend of mine lost someone close to their hearts on Saturday. being so close to Christmas the fact how strong they are being has made me really think how lucky I am. This then stemmed off into realising how each and everyone of us has a certain friend who we can fall out with over (after looking back) some really petty things, but at the time meant everything. And not talk for a while but when you start again it's like it all never happened, when you have that its amazing and that's what friendship is about. I don't want to mention names as the situation is pretty bad - but I shall call her Shanequa.. This may seem random but I thought I should spread a bean of knowledge :P So this is why this is my inspiration, to hold onto friendship and be the best friend you can be :) No matter what I know I have Shanequa - and she will always have me. That is my inspiration this week. *Sorry for the depressingness of that little talk there...*

hello mr bond.. WINTER TIME

Hello my lovelies - after failing my theory last week the new test is booked and I WILL...pass this time even if it kills me! So this week has been a slow starter haven't done anything at all which sucks :( however - the exciting news is Band Xmas playing has begun.. HELL YES. *nerd alert, sound the alarm* this can only mean 1 thing chaps.. countdown to Christmas, which means festive blog posts (y) *cheer* I can see the excitement in all of your pretty eyes haha!
With this post comes: The festive Jumper party post, My best 10 crimbo songs, Candle reviews, Jumpers, Trees, Decor and many many more!
With the theme of xmas, this can only mean 2 things, Nerina Pallot gig who i go and see every festive time with my mum and her friends. And Mumford & Sons... yes you heard me! this coming tuesday i shall be there with my fiddle rocking out to Babel (y) if you are going to Newcastle, I shall see you chaps there :D
For those who are bright enough to realise, my posts are now on a weekend so I can give you a good review of the week and let you know what's going down! *and because I have loads of school work and I have no time, but.. we shall make the time!*
like I said, I am feeling super festive, got my Costa 2 for 1 the other day, I got 2 Honeycomb hot chocolates.. omg they were uh-to-the-mazing! 
What topped of my week however was the fact the bus drove off without me on Friday -.- I rushed my shower and everything and nope. He drove off. I was not amused. So I was just sat at home..not really doing anything #annoyed
Went into my local town on Wednesday, and hit the charity shops, and found some bargains, but (ready for this) I didn't buy anything, I have no idea what was wrong with me but I didn't buy one single item... and there was so many jumpers which i could've worked with but.. I dunno something has changed! I DON'T LIKE IT!

What was worn this week?
New Jack Wills leggings - i know many will be rolling the eyes at this one! It isn't as bad as it looks! I bought them because they are thick so they will keep me all toasty and because i had a 30% of code and didn't want it to go to waste, so I bought leggings! 
Festive Jumpers - now we are into December the festive knitts are allowed to come out and i aren't holding back my friends, i am going all out with the santa jumpers and whatever else comes with that ;) If this means becoming a Bridget Jones.. BRING IT ON.
Still need a new coat *sigh* I will find one soons I hope, I am hoping to find one on Ebay or on Asos Market place <<-- new fave place 

ready for the James Bond themed party tonight - i think it's going to be so much fun! got my dress at the ready - which is in the previous post! got my toy gun.. emphasis on toy, got my little toy cat ready... just need some make-up ideas hmmmm
oh I am going as Pussy Galore (from goldfinger i think,, don't kill me if I'm wrong!)

Online fashion week is so soons - super excited! starts the 3rd of December and ends on the 7th! Hopefully I will get in on some of the daily offers... If all goes to plan the xmas shopping will be sorted and I will become a saint for being so organised.. BOOM.
