Here's where the story ends....

HELLO :) how have we all been? It has been super long since I have blogged, I know this is really bad, but I have been ill.. and I mean super ill, too ill to blog :( but I am happy to announce I am back.. 

I decided to shorten my weekly posts I would do a mid week one with the Artist of the week (AOTW) and Inspiration and a 'if money was no option' 
I hope you all Enjoy...

Before I jump on the band wagon (see what i did there?!) I have a little story to share!
my cousin told me on Sunday "Aren't you a little old to like one direction?" I don't think I have ever been so offended... I love one direction! In some ways I am a little ashamed to admit it, but I think about 90% of me isn't ashamed at all!!! I love them ahaha :') 

So my darlings, this weeks artist comes a classic! A band called 'the Sundays' formed in 1980 by the lead singer Harriett Wheeler and Guitarist David Gavurin at University! I came accross the song
'Here's Where The Story Ends' again when I was on my dads Itunes and I have been hooked! the video is linked down below. 'Summer time' was their highest ranking song in terms of charts,but 'Here's where...' is my fave ;)




If money were no option...
This week I am in desperate need of something to wear that is really nice for my interview at UCA Epsom.. if any of you are opting to do a Fashion Journalism course there and you have an interview.. I shall see you there my darlings :)
But I need something super amazing to wear..
 
This little number I found on Asos, its £95 and I think with leather jacket/blazer and a little clutch bag or a satchel it will look beaut :) and its something if money grew on trees I would be buying faster than light.

As far as fashion goes this week, I am loving wearing Neon colours whether it be on my nails or via a statement piece of jewellery! my moto for this coming season "go bright or go home" inspired from the very classy song from Will.I.Am, hey that dude is just incred when it comes to big tunes *of course I am joking, but that song has been in my head for the past week*
This week for me is all about wearing smart clothes to see which outfit I like best for Thursday..I am super worried about this guys! I really hope everything goes well *fingers crossed* but my mum and dad are coming along with me.. so this should be a nice little outing :P

Wonderful Wellies!

Hello my Lovelies I hope you are all feeling well! This Weeks Word as you can see is.. Crêpe! And no I don't mean the French pancake! This is a light soft thin fabric of silk, cotton, wool, or another material, with a crinkled surface. Also called crape. *no silliness please madam, I see your laughter* So there is your little fact of the day there!

If Money Was No Option? (IMWNO) I would buy the new Dolce & Gabbana - Sicily Classic tote in the colour duck egg blue with a hint of mint green in... It doesn't say the colour.. but I ADORE THIS.

What happened this week?
Nothing. Not even joking! I had my busy week last week with my busy social life etc, but this week I have been working really hard on my English course work analysing poetry which after 3 days my friends gets very very tedious D: but I have weeks more of this.. With all this work I will have no life at all, which makes me really sad!
However, me and my little group of friends have a great gathering on a Wednesday afternoon for a catch up as we aren't always together, we like to call it.. 'Coffee club' we are so cool when it comes to names and we just have a chit chat and have a drink and chat about things, but this week was significant as all 7 of us went and this hasn't happened since Crimbo. 
WELL DONE TO US. *applause*

AOTW: 

This week I have been addicted to Imagine Dragons. It is this very band that has kept me going all week, all of their songs are super catchy and there isn't one song I don't like!
They are an American band who formed in 2008 in LA. Their new album 'Night Visions' is out now, and I highly recommend it!
This is one of their songs, which is my FAVE:  Tiptoe I hope you all enjoy this band as much as I do

This weeks little feature is... *drum roll*.. Wellie reviews! I figured since we are getting heaps of rain, some people will be wearing their wellingtons and so I thought it would be nice to share with you my Favourites, some which are a tad expensive, some really cheap, some funky and some really plain :)

1. This little list would be nowhere without seeing some Hunter. I love hunter wellies and yes they are very pricey, but they last and last and last! I have a plain pair in black, but they are really muddy so I will show you a piccy of the actual wellie

2. Something many will not be familiar with is the shop 'Yorkshire Trading' now it seems lame, but they do indeed have a brand of clothing called.. 'Ryedale' kudos to them for the great name! But saying this they do some really funky wellies and in fact when I was younger I had a rather Jazzy pair from here ;)

3.The next best thing to Hunter, Joules. This is a really good brand of wellie and they don't just do plain colours! They do the odd funky pattern here and there, which is always a good thing! My mum has a plain Purple pair, here is the pair we have at home :) I will also put in a Jazzier pair :)

4. All the 'Lads' out there will be wondering 'where is a wellie for me?' well fear not. The rigga boot is making an appearance . although technically not a wellie, they are a very good waterproof shoe to wear in the rain and if you are going to build a house.. so these boots have top marks for the wear and tear! My dad recommends these... and if he likes them then, they are a great shoe!

5. Lastly I am just going to throw in some Wellies which I adored in my childhood, and I always wore them with a stripey sock... I was one coolio kid! They are Barbie wellies with a Heel.. they are the bees knee's :P

In Stead of inspiration, I thought why not do an OOTW.. This week *drum roll*

FWOTW.....

Hello my Lovelies, hope your week went well and you are all feeling perky! 

why am I so happy I hear you say? Well, I am exam free until the summer.. WOO which means I am for a little while stress free.. *dances internally*

What happened this week?

well as you can tell by the mood, I have finished my exams, and this weekend I have been to 3 parties.. yes you heard me! 3.. never has my social life been (as the young ones say..) "booming". You are probably thinking, who on earth would want too see me 3 times! well there was.. Band *sound the nerd alarm* where we had our annual new year meal/concert/being drunk around posh people party, it's cooler than it sounds.. honest! no i am joking it is insanely nerdy but lets swerve past that... I then went to my friends for a chillaxing evening, which was chilled as we watched many funny youtube clips and played air hockey.. which I lost at, which didn't surprise anyone.. I am the least sporty person E V E R.
Finally there was the end of exam party, which hopefully I might be able to attend but there is so much snow D: it has ruined all of my plans *sigh*
One thing I am obsessed with currently is movies, I think everyday/night I am watching a film, which I aren't sure if it's really sad or really awesome. Comment below what you think.. what else happened,, oh I have changed my signature image! I bet you are all incredibly excited for that!
And finally of course was all the snow which has been highly desruptive as on Tuesday I thought 'oh poo I wont get to my exam' which to my dads response he said "Well I will take you in the digger".. yeah.. he didn't need to, shame that.

AOTW: my artist of the week this week deffo has to be the Kooks! After having a rather surreal week I have really enjoyed relaxing,chilling and warming up to the Kooks! I think my new found old fave is 'see the sun' such a lovely chirpy tune! However I think the whole album 'konk' is very good! So if you love the kooks great, if you haven't heard them in ages wapp them on! and if you haven't ever heard of them.. LISTEN TO THEM NOW!

Now onto the fashion:
OOTW: Ripped denim Jeans from Topshop which are really old now, I was surprised when I wore them yesterday that still fit.. It was one accomplishment :') I wore this with a simple grey vest and my Green Parka from Camden Market!
I have made some new shorts.. *pause for applause* Which I am highly proud off, they are made from Old Levi jeans they were £10 from a vintage store in York, I think the shop is the find of the year! Everything is a tenner :D its rather amazing! 

One of the things I am trying to do this year is to save my money and wear ALL of my clothes and only buy something if I: 1. need it 2. it is reallllly cheap and 3. if I am going somewhere posh.

Well, this has already failed as I bought another maxi dress, but it is nothing like the ones I currently own.. promise! It's from ASOS, which of course justifiably is really good!

I think this is such a good piece to own as you can dress it up and down and will go with lots, so this isn't just a dress, it is a life investment. *thank you*

If anyone has any ideas on what I can wear to an interview for UCA - then please let me know because I am still struggling for ideas!!

hello my lovelies - I am back! *I apologise for the length* Casually watching Jezza while writing this.. best day off ever ;)
You are all probably wondering where I have been and why I haven't been blogging through the end of December and beginning of January.
As always near the end of the year we have parties, I have been rather poorly, I have had revision and I have had to deal with a break-up, which due to experiences sometimes is really hard! But more importantly I have been going through a panic phase of that I just haven't known what to write about and haven't really felt myself, and in some cases I feel rather alone! which is weird cause I am surrounded by so many friends! But now I feel much better and all these emotions have gone! and with these new ideas I have some good feelings about this little blog :) 

The plan this year? fashion word of the week, inspiration, Music track of the week, OOTW! so hopefully this will only get better and better! With this will come the fashion & beauty hauls and then comes the uni updates :) Hope this all will tickle your fancies.

Artist I have been loving for the week (AOTW) - Tom Odell; recently won the Brits choice award 2013, and his single 'Another Love' is one of my all time faves for 2013, I can sense big things from this dude!
This week, I had my two resits on Wednesday, it was torture! 1st I thought my English exam didn't have my question so I did the whole 'OMG TOTAL FREAK OUT!' exam mode.. it wasn't a fun time for me, and I didn't have a drink either... my life was utter carnage at this point! Then I had my History, the 1st two questions were good, I did the party in your head dance, then I was starting to forget the info needed so I looked around and stared into space and looked a guy in my year square in the face.. it was VERY awkward! As you can imagine my exams are very emotional times as I can imagine all yours are too...

So with all of this snow comes the snow ball fights and the snowmen, pretty sights there, you can thank me later. However, walking outside on the wing path towards my class, I slipped..pretty much a landslide, and these year 7's I will emphasise this YEAR 7'S were laughing at me.. and they thought it would be funny to throw more snow at me.. that my friends was a good day -.- oh and to top that all off I fell down the stairs. My life is total embarrassment :(
on a happy note got a conditional offers from London Met & Sunderland .. thank you very much kind regards. (thought I should add some Miranda in there, gotta love the woman!) 
Before we get into the inspiration - I have decided to make a to do list of everything I need to do before the Easter Holidays - 
1. Blog more.. so here we go!
2. Get my extended project done
3. Diet
4. Eat Healthy
5. History coursework
6. English coursework
7. Complete my portfolio
When I complete these things I shall let you know in due course, and I will write about it.. I bet you all cant wait :P
